"Wai... Wait, you mean the estate I'm residing in?" Rex stuttered, his voice oscillating.

"Exactly, you heard me correctly," the old man replied.

Rex's jaw dropped upon hearing this; he never knew the apartment he had been paying millions for was linked to his grandfather!

"Well, it's still going in the same pocket, so I'm not losing anything," he mumbled after feeling he had been spending money living as a tenant on his estate.

"But you never told me you have any property somewhere near the campus; how and when did you acquire the estate?"

"Well, it's weird to say that I don't even know all my properties in my memory; that was why I pressured you to take the lead so it wouldn't be scattered or others would reap it after I may have died," he replied, gently hitting his fingertips on the desk.

"So how did you get the information, Grandpa?"

The old man chuckled for a while before glaring back at him. "You did not notice Jackson's absence since you arrived here, right?" he questioned.
