106 : A Random Person

Alexis’s eyes fluttered open and then she was forced to shut it tight back immediately she had opened it due to the rays of the sunlight that was coming in through the window. She wondered why, she always made sure to keep the curtains closed before sleeping but it seemed like the curtains were already open, she could only make one guess as to who would have done that.

She opened her eyes slowly, letting it get used to the light before she opened it fully, she could see that she was right, the curtain was open and there was a figure standing in front of the window with his back turned to her. It was like he noticed that she was awake and he turned to face her, his lips stretching into a smile.

“Morning sunshine,” he said. His hand was folded on his chest. “How was your night?” he asked softly.

Alexis sat up with a frown on her face, resting her back on the headboard. “Not like you care,” she replied.

He let out a soft chuckle, “Are you really saying that right now, Alexis?” he ask
