CHAPTER 102

Anthony was the most relieved he had ever felt since the news that Taron was taken away got through to him. The young man had grown on him, and Anthony had loved him just as much as he loved his own sons. And Eloise was breathing better too. He could tell my the little bit of brightness in her face that she was hopeful, and he would rather die than watch the light fade from her face instead of making it shine brighter.

Eloise had a little bag ready for him, and in that was a picture of her, and a handkerchief doused in her favorite perfume with her lip prints all over. It had become tradition for Eloise to give Anthony those whenever he was going to be away for more than two days, and they were not sure how long it would take to rescue Taron, as the drive was hours away.

They were using his helicopter, so the journey would be much more faster and Anthony was still scheming in his head for a strategy.
