CHAPTER 115

Rebecca had lit candles and had soft music playing in the background. They sat on the couch and talked about their day, laughing.

Taron had insisted on making the meal the last part of what they had to do, and Rebecca did not mind because the food was piping hot, fresh from the pot.

“So, what did you do today?” Taron asked, giving Rebecca a kiss on the head as they watched the television.

“Nothing much, actually.” Rebecca said before shaking her head.

“Actually, there was a lot that happened today, especially when I went to go and get stuff at the grocery store.” Rebecca said.

“Okay, let me know, I’m interested.” Taron relaxed to listen to her talk.

“When I got there to get some rice and fish and some spices, there was a woman holding up the line and talking to the cashier, and you know, I was in a hurry, so I told them off and told them that we had better things to do outside the store.” Rebecca said.

“Wow, and did they listen?” Taron asked.

“Of course they did
