CHAPTER 137

Taron suddenly woke up and turned to see Rebecca sleeping peacefully next to him. He sighed as he realised that it was just a terrible nightmare.

In his dream, he had seen someone reach out to snatch Rebecca from him, and all he could do was cry helplessly.

He gave her a kiss on her cheek and turned to go back to sleep when she suddenly stirred awake.

"Taron?" She asked. "What happened? Why are you awake?"

"No, I just woke up actually." Taron wanted to punch himself. He had forgotten that she was a light sleeper.

"Sorry honey, I didn't mean to wake you up." He said, trying to tuck her back in.

"No, it's okay, why are you up?" Rebecca asked.

"Nothing, I just had a terrible dream." He said and Rebecca nodded.

"Alright, so do you want to talk about it?" Rebecca asked.

Taron sighed. "It was not that long of a dream." He removed the covers and sat up. Rebecca did the same and sat next to him.
