Taron looked into the mirror and gave himself a smile. “You’re going to do it again, Taron, just like you’ve done many times before.” He had a very wonderful conversation with a member of his clan who had been wronged by another member. The wrong member, who called himself Cliff, but Taron had later identified as Jeff Ross had told Taron that the Johnson brothers had thrown his company down. Jeff aka Cliff had also revealed that the brothers were involved in illegal oil trading, and when Taron had asked for proof, Jeff had provided audio and video evidences. Even brought some photographs just for show, and just like that Taron got an idea on how he would be able to sell everyone in on signing the contract with open hearts. Half hearted wills in the least. “What’s got you whistling all over the place now? Is it that girl that works for you?” Eloise came in asking. “What? No! Why would I be whistling because of Rebecca? I’m whistling because I’m going to have a great day t
“With how scrunched you your face is, I can’t imagine what you’d look like if you heard that the flight had been cancelled.” Taron said, sporting his dark shades as different women looked at him as he passed. Rebecca threw her nose up. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, sir.” “You’ve been in a terrible mood all week, what happened to you?” Taron hit the mail on the head and Rebecca started to stammer. “No— it’s the— uh, the weather! The moon has not been aligning with my behaviour.” Rebecca quickly said. “You’re blaming your behaviour on the innocent moon, how unseemly.” Taron raised his glasses to look at her. Rebecca studied Taron. Did he seriously not remember? “Fine, I’ve just been having mood swings more often than usual,” Rebecca confessed. “If it’s affecting my work, I’m truly sorry and I’d do my best to be better.” “Yeah Becca, whatever.” Taron grinned and walked ahead of her. Rebecca wondered what was wrong with him. He looked too happy to be true
Taron was in a meeting with the men that he had come to see for business. Rebecca was taking the minutes, recovering from her jaw involuntarily dropping after she saw how gorgeous the men were. They looked like they had beauty gurus as parents and nannies and she wished she could touch their jawlines and beautiful brown skin. It was until Taron sent her a glare after nudging her that she realised that she had been caught staring. She waved at them, embarrassment filling her being while Taron did an introduction on her behalf. The reason Taron had rushed to pick this up was not because of how successful these brothers were, because they were successful actors, not businessmen, but because he saw potential and he felt like it would turn out great for all parties involved. And with their popularity, Taron felt like that would make up for the fact that they were still amateurs on this side of things. Rebecca set her bag on the table. It had a camera that Taron had installed just in ca
Taron’s eyes darted back and forth from his mother and wondered if she was seriously doing this. A total waste of his time, and what was more? She was having everyone join in on it. Her dog had died, not that that was surprising as Eloise was terrible when it came to taking care of any living thing that was not herself. Taron had expected the whole thing. In fact, it lived longer than he had expected. What the issue was was that his mother was eating chocolates and she had given the dog some to feast on. How irresponsible was that? Taron shook his head. But then she claimed that she did not know that dogs could not eat chocolate so he had to let it go. Not that he cared about the dog, but he did not appreciate an animal dying in his home. This was not just any burial. She had bought some space at the local cemetery where actual people were buried and did funeral proceedings like it was a person that died. Even had the guards carry the dog on a casket the size of the one humans use
“Dear God, what have I done?” Eloise whispered as she watched her son leave. “You just got engaged to me, baby!” Anthony laughed heartily and lifted Eloise up. “Tony, stop it, now is not the time.” Anthony then noticed how down Eloise seemed so he put her down and drew himself closer to her. “What’s wrong, baby? Was it something I did?” Anthony asked. “No, actually, not directly at least.” Eloise replied in a low voice. Anthony looked around the crowd and grinned. “Happy engagement to us once again, invites to the engagement party would be sent, so until then, have fun! The burial is over.” Anthony carried Eloise out and put her in his car before placing a call to one of his men. “We are going somewhere, have the rest of the family go home, alright?” Then he cut the call. “What’s wrong now? Won’t you tell me?” Anthony asked, and Eloise sighed, looking out the window. “It’s my son, Anthony, he is not happy with me.” Eloise shook her head as she felt tears well
“Taron!” Eloise screamed, banging on the door. “Taron! Open this door right now.” Immediately she woke up, she rushed out of Anthony’s mansion and declined breakfast, stating that she wanted to see her son. Anthony drove Eloise to Taron’s mansion after giving her an energy bar. “Taron!” Eloise shouted once more and Taron opened the door. “I don’t think pounding on my study door is the best thing to do, you almost woke Rebecca.” Taron said angrily and shut the door gently behind him. “My son, we need to talk.” Eloise said, walking after him. Taron turned back sharply and pointed a finger in Eloise’s face. “Don’t you dare to use that card on me, just call me Taron, I’m well aware of the fact that you gave birth to me.” Eloise was speechless for a few seconds before she slapped Taron’s finger out of the way. “Don’t you dare wag your finger at me, you unruly boy.” Taron continued to walk out of the space with Eloise hot on her heels behind him. “Taron, we are well out
Selena went all the way up to Taron’s office. She had not seen or heard from Taron in a while, but she felt that it was better that way, as that she like give her the mysterious aura she was aiming for. She was dressed in a white body con dress and left her hair to fall free behind her shoulders. She even did the angelic makeup, just for the sake of it. “Taron baby, I’m going to win you back.” She said, swinging her hips. Then she opened the door.- “You’re starting to become very important to me.” Taron murmured. “Wow sir, so I was not important to you before?” Rebecca grinned, placing a hand on her chest. “You know what I mean, dear Personal assistant, you’re making it easier to forget sometimes.” Taron grinned at her and pressed her body well into his. “And you are so soft.” He sighed, breathing in her scent. “Definitely not a crocodile, then.” She said. Taron looked up at her. “You’re so weird, but you’re right.” He said, chuckling. “I know, right?” She g
“I can’t believe that he had the audacity to do that behind my back!” She hissed, striding around the place. “Do what?” The guy in front of her asked. Whatever his name was. “He was kissing her when I walked in! Kissing her!” Selena yelled, grabbing the boy. The boy shrugged. “Well, shouldn’t you have knocked first?” “He used to be my boyfriend! I did not have to knock or anything.” She grunted and left his collar before she continued to pace. “You still have not told me what you want me to do for you, ma’am.” The boy said, trying his best to stabilize his hurting neck. Selena had a strong grip, that was for sure. “I need information! Find them, and let me know about what’s going on in their lives!” Selena said. “Not if you have not given me any information about them, I can’t.” The boy shrugged. “I brought his file here before.” Selena said. “Yeah, you’d still have to bring a different one, or we can make one for you for three hundred dollars,” The boy grin
