CHAPTER 54

"That's the third time that has happened in ten minutes." Rebecca stood in front of the pile of vomit Taron had left on the ground again, patting his back.

"It's a good thing you have paper towels here, handy for situations like this." She brought the towels and started to clean his face.

“I can’t imagine your mother seeing you like this.” Rebecca giggled as they got back in the car.

“No! No mother!” Taron exclaimed.

Rebecca found it comforting to find out that Taron could still think, even if it was not reliable. She felt that it would be better if he had some control so he could go to sleep easier after eating at her place.

She was wrong.

“Sir! Sir! Don’t come outside, stay in there and take your bath and wear your towel when you’re done!” Rebecca yelled at Taron who was trying to open the door.

“I want the door open!” Taron said stubbornly as Rebecca held on to the door of the bathroom for dear life— or dear sight, whichever.

“No!” Rebecca said stubbornly.
