Taron leaned back with a large grin on his face. “That is so wonderful, James, I'm happy that you have decided to do that.” Taron said. “Well, I only thought about what you said at first, and it made sense,” James said. “I didn't want to do it, but your story and everything had me rethinking my terrible decision.” Taron nodded, remembering his mother. “I'm glad that my story touched you, at least.” “Now, here is the thing,” James took in a deep breath. “after I cut my son off, I lost contact with him and I need to find him again.” Taron raised a brow. He did not know where Steve was, if that was what James Garrick was asking. “Okay, and ?” Taron asked. “I was wondering if you knew where he was so that I could be able to do what I need to do.” James Garrick said and Taron looked away. “I'm sorry, James, but I don't know where your son is.” Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and Taron got a phone call from Rebecca. “Rebecca?” Taron asked. “What's going on?”
Taron had decided to take a day off when he received a phone call. And not just one, multiple phone calls like he had decided to go off with someone’s head and the person’s family members were trying to pick a bone with him. He turned around in his bed and picked up the phone to see that it was in fact Selena who had been calling him like her life depended on it. Taron called her back and put the phone to his ear. “What is wrong with you? Why do you keep on calling me like I stole your child?” “You are a very useless man, Taron, and I feel bad for whoever it is that is related to you.” Selena started and Taron cut the call. He had no interest in listening to whatever it was she was going to say. Selena called back and he picked it. “How dare you cut the call on me?” “Well, Selena, if I was going to receive insults from you, I’d rather not have it read on my account, so yes, you can speak while you call,” Taron said nonchalantly. “I’m trying to sleep, you have two minutes.”
Eloise was missing her son terribly. And for some reason, Taron was still not on talking terms with his mother, again. Anthony was not at peace. He was in love with Eloise and seeing her mope a lot because her son could not open his eyes to see the reality of the situation was seriously pissing him off. “I can go and talk to him, he’s not a child anymore.” Anthony said to Eloise who shook her head. “No Anthony, you would not understand his anger and you would think that he is being too childish, but I understand what he is feeling.” Eloise would always say each time Anthony tried to step in. Eloise called Taron this time and he picked up the phone. “Mother,” Taron replied from the other end. He was going to call her, but since she had called first, he had better made good use of it. “how are you doing?” “I’m okay, baby, but I miss you so much,” Eloise said, her voice going down to a whisper. “why are you still not talking to me? I’m your mother, you know?” “Is Antho
Heavy footsteps were heard from the ground floor. The building was made of very good material, so one could imagine what kind of feet would be able to make that kind of noise. "Do you think that it's the police?" Rebecca turned back to ask Taron. Taron shrugged before gasping and turning around sharply. "The door is unlocked!" Taron rushed to lock the door when it burst open in his face. "Freeze!" The one at the front said, his voice hoarse. "That is so cliché," One of his partners said. "get on the floor and put your hands on your head." "Yes, because that line is original." The initial speaker said. “What is going on?” Taron asked and went on to stand in front of them. “Sir, please don’t talk to them, they are dangerous.” Rebecca said, fear evident in her voice. “Listen to your lady or else we would kill you and her.” Taron stared steadily at the one who had spoken and knew immediately that the guy was bluffing. He kept his eye on Taron but the way his k
“Baby, you’ve been at my place for so long, why don’t you get going?” The celebrity actor Selena had gone home with asked. When Selena had asked for his name, he brought up a photo of himself from the internet. Daniel Corby. That was his name. He was well built, had good hair and was actually on the handsome side, making him a great catch. “What’s wrong, Daniel? Why are you so eager to send me away? Is your wife coming with the kids?” Selena asked. “No, they don’t come here, they don’t even know that this place exists so it’s just for my escapades.” He said, wiggling his eyebrows at Selena. Selena moved towards him on his bed and played with his nipples. “Well, I don’t want to leave yet since that is the case, and you did not get me any of the things I asked you to get, I’m a princess, you know?” Selena blinked cattily at him. “Whatever, just take my card there and order whatever you like, as long as it doesn’t exceed five hundred.” Daniel said, bringing out one
“What do you think? Is it okay?” Taron stood, trying to adjust his outfit. Rebecca giggled and went to fix his tie. “All except this, sir, don’t you have a mirror at home?” She asked playfully. “Well, usually before I go to work, especially when there’s an important event coming up, my mother would look at me and see if I got everything fixed up properly,” Taron said. “but now she has gone to stay with someone else.” “I’m sorry I asked.” Rebecca wished that she knew when to keep her mouth shut. “Don’t be, it’s not your fault that my mother doesn’t care about mg feelings anyway.” He stood up straight and gave himself a one over in the mirror. “If it’s any consolation, I think your mother truly loves you, I’ve heard her speak of you and it makes me want to have my own child someday.” Rebecca sighed and looked out of the window with a dreamy stare. “I hope you’re nothing like my mother if you ever have kids.” Taron chuckled and sat down. “Sir, how do I look?” Rebec
Taron had been waiting for Rebecca to show up, but there was no sign of her anywhere. Usually she arrived around the same time as him, and for her to not be present after her break meant that something was definitely wrong. Maybe she was ill? Taron had tried dialing her two phone numbers, but she did not answer the calls. “What is going on?” He muttered. He picked up his phone and dialed Selena’s number. “If you’re calling to apologise, save it for someone else.” Selena said once she picked up. “No, I’m calling to ask what you’ve done to Rebecca.” Taron said. “What I’ve done to Rebecca? Are you out of your mind, Taron?” She asked him. “What did Rebecca say that I did?” “She did not say anything because she’s not even at work, and she’s not picking up her calls.” Taron stated. “Oh,” Taron could imagine Selena rolling her eyes. “take a hint, Taron, she does not want to talk to you or anything, so she’s trying to let you out of her business easy.” “I don’t th
Taron paced around his office wondering how it could be that whomever it was that had Selena captured had not called to ask for any money or said anything concerning her. He picked up his phone and called the police. “Hello?” He said angrily. “Hello sir.” “Any news concerning Rebecca yet?” He asked them with impatience in his voice. “Not yet, sir, but we are doing our best to get her location.” “It’s been three days and you still don’t have anything to show for it! Are you the police or are you just a vigilante group?” Taron asked angrily. “We are sorry sir, we would do our best to find her whereabouts and bring the criminals to justice.” He said and Taron cut the call angrily. He could not help but blame himself for all it was that must have happened to Rebecca. “Anthony, have your men found any news yet?” Taron asked. “We have found some traces, but it’s most likely that they would lead to underground communities and or trafficking rings outlets.” Anthony
