CHAPTER 72

Eloise had already spent weeks without seeing her son or talking to him. Mostly because he refused to respond to her texts and did not pick her calls.

Anthony had tried his best to comfort her but he could not stand in line for her son, and that was very hurtful to him, because what could he do but watch his wife suffer for her own happiness?

Anthony could not understand why Taron could not accept the fact that he had to share his mother from now on, and although, she had explained her past with her son to him, Anthony felt like Taron was a little bit too old to be having issues with that now.

He was still lost in thought when Eloise’s phone rang, causing him to jerk upwards, alert.

Eloise got up to pick up her phone and looked around before picking it. Anthony looked at her questioningly, and she shrugged her shoulders to let him know that she had no idea of who was calling and so she put the phone on loudspeaker.

“Hello?” Eloise said, her voice weak.
