CHAPTER 82

Taron was tired of the mixing up with people that he was tired of meeting, and some that he had already met earlier, and the terrible headache that he had was not helping matters.

“I wish we could leave this place.” Taron said, whispering into Rebecca’s ear.

Rebecca mistook his intentions and turned to him with a flirtatious smile. “Why? Are you that bored?”

“Bored is an understatement. I’m tired of this place,” Taron said. “if only something interesting would happen.”

“It’s always fun and games in the invitations until you keep on seeing the same people to talk about the same things and playing the same games to eat the same food all the time.” Rebecca agreed, eager to please her boss.

A woman approached them and tapped Taron from the back.

“Taron!” She squealed. Taron turned back in surprise.

“Freya!” They exchanged handshakes. “Seeing you for the second time this month.”
