CHAPTER 89

Taron opened his eyes groggily, and everything looked blurry to him. He felt a dull pain in the side of his head, and his body felt like he was continually being stepped on by a giant bear with metal legs while sopranos sang at extreme high pitches to torture him.

“Where am I?” His voice sounded too hoarse, even.

“Our golden boy has finally opened his eyes, haha!” Someone said.

Taron blinked continually until his eyes were finally able to focus. He was sitting down, and he looked down on his body and realised with a start that he was tied up.

“What is going on?” He shouted, looking around too fast.

That made his head and body ache even more.

Taron studied his surroundings. He was in some sort of dull, empty room, and save for him, the dust and some cobwebs, and a dimly lit bulb, the room seemed to be empty. And for the man who had spoken to him earlier too.

“Where am I?” Taron asked trying to see if he would be able to somehow slip out of his ropes.
