Chapter 68: A burden off my shoulder.

Bruce's POV:

I walked out of the conference room and got into my office and I sat down. I started work and my phone on my desk began to ring.

I wasn't surprised when I saw my father , Mr Chase calling.

I smiled, as I answered his call.

"How dare you Bruce?" He asked in a loud angry voice.

"If you don't want me to tell the truth about who my Father is, you should have cooked up a lie and told them, since you are so good at lying." I told him.

If he had said anything about who my Father was when they asked the question, I wouldn't have had to reply, so this was his fault.

"Why couldn't you have just lied and said something else ,why didn't you say that Owen was your Father?" He asked me and I raised an eyebrow.

He actually expected me to lie when Uncle Owen was there and could easily say that I was lying, I don't know why this man is acting this stupid.

"If you are telling me to lie, you could at least cook up a believable lie, Uncle Owen could have easily said I wasn't his son." I told
