Charlie walked away, and Leo walked towards the ward, his footsteps echoing in the quiet hallway. Getting to the ward, he saw Fiona lying on the bed, her face pale and weak.

"Hey Fiona," Leo said, his voice soft and concerned, and she smiled immediately when she saw him, her eyes lighting up with warmth.

"Leo, you came?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, and he scoffed, his expression a mix of relief and worry.

"I was so worried about you that I wanted to check on you," Leo said, his words tumbling out in a rush, his eyes scanning her face and body, making sure she was okay.

"Thanks so much, you're too much," she said, trying to sound playful, but her tone was lost, her voice still weak and fragile.

"It's alright, just relax," Leo said, his voice calm and soothing, and he stretched out the basket of fruit, his hand offering her the basket of apples. "I bought you apples" he said, his eyes smiling, and she smiled back, her lips curling up slightly.
