As his mum left, Charlie hurriedly exited the house, a sense of urgency pushing him forward. Alice quickly grabbed her bag and dashed after him, a sense of determination etched on her face.

Upon reaching the car, Charlie noticed him already seated in the back. Alice joined him, taking the seat next to him, and with a glance, she signaled for Leo to drive.

Leo's voice held a tone of confusion as he questioned Alice, "I thought I was supposed to drop you off at your house?" Her response was met with a scoff, a subtle hint of defiance in her demeanor.
