Charlie was shocked to see Fiona in such a state. "Fiona, you're going to be admitted to the hospital," Dr. Stephen said gently. "You shouldn't have let domestic violence get to this point without speaking out."

Fiona let out a weak chuckle. "Please, Stephen, I don't want to talk about it. Just admit me, and please, if my parents come asking questions, don't tell them anything."

Dr. Stephen's expression turned sympathetic. "Of course, Fiona. We'll take care of you. You're safe now."

Charlie felt a surge of anger and sadness, realizing what Fiona must have gone through. He wished he could have been there to protect her.

"Please take care of her, Dr. Stephen," Charlie said, his voice cracking with emotion as he gazed at his sister, Fiona, lying in the hospital bed. Her eyes were sunken, her skin pale, and her body battered and bruised. Charlie's eyes welled up with tears as he thought about how he had failed to protect her.

Dr. Stephen smiled warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
