The next morning, Liam puts an extra pep in his step as he gets ready to go to work. He makes sure to wear one of his best suits, thinking that if he is going to do this. Then he needs to look good.

When he gets downstairs, he sees Miranda around the table, then tries to remember the night he had.

‘’What are you doing here?’’ he asks after not being able to remember any sexual interaction between them.

‘’I made sure you got home ok. Craig drove behind me to so shit didn’t go sideways.’’

‘’Craig could have brought you home.’’

Liam frowns at her. ‘’I have maids and a wonderful butler.’’

‘’Well, maybe I didn’t want Craig to drive me home.’’

‘’Jack could have.’’

‘’He is an asshole.’’

‘’You could have asked one of my bodyguards to take you home.’’

‘’What if I don’t want anyone to know where I live?’’
