‘’Why do you want me to work for you?’’ Miranda asks.

‘’Because you are looking for work in the wrong places, you will get hurt by that and I wouldn’t live with myself to know this.’’

‘’You are acting as if you care. You don’t, Liam.’’

‘’I do care enough to not let you work in places like this.’’

‘’Do you care about the other females that will be working here? Because if you did, you wouldn’t have started this venture.’’

‘’Don’t lecture me.’’ Liam frowns at Miranda.

‘’And don’t tell me what to do with my life. You are not my parents. We mean nothing to each other.’’

Miranda moves around Liam, but he brags her upper arm and pulls her back.

‘’Let go of me, Liam.’’

While still holding her, Liam debates with himself and lost. He suddenly crashes his lips onto hers, knocking the wind out of Miranda.

When they pull apart, she is breathing hard.

‘’Why did you do that?’’ she asks.

‘’Didn’t you want me to kiss you?’’

‘’No, yes. Not like that. I was hard and there was nothing behind
