You can't afford it

When Nathan left the manager's office, he saw that Declan and Hayleigh had already left. Only the female staff was there, and when she saw Nathan, she sarcastically said:

"Hey there, fancy man. How was your meeting with the manager? Did you finally manage to withdraw your 100 million dollars?"

She is upset with Nathan because she believes he pretended to be wealthy and sought respect from her earlier.

Nathan frowned and replied: "I don't think I need to report to you.”

She says: "Oh, please. You're probably just some poor guy trying to pretend you're rich. You'll never have that kind of money. Please don't act like that in the future.”

Nathan gradually lost patience: "The manager has verified my identity. I have every right to access my funds, and I don't appreciate your disrespectful attitude."

She: "Stop lying. You're just trying to scam your way into the bank."

Nathan: "I assure you, that is not the case. I'm not trying to scam anyone."

She sneered and said, "Oh please, so where is money? At least you had withdrawn as your original plan."

Nathan was offended: "I don't need to withdraw anymore, so I don't withdraw. Please get out of my way!”

She is in a dismissive tone: "Do you think I’m an idiot? The manager should have made it public that you had cheated. You must be punished!”

Suddenly, Manager Rory Heath came out of his office, visibly angry. He scolded the female staff and said, "How dare you speak to one of our most honorable clients like that? Nathan Jimenez is a valued member of this bank, and you will apologize to him immediately."

The female staff was terrified. Her mind was still in a panic, and she wasn't sure what kind of family Jimenez was from, but she immediately apologised, "I'm so sorry, Mr Jimenez. I didn't mean any disrespect. I let my emotions overwhelm my work, and I misunderstood you.”

Nathan clicked his lips, looking bored: "It's alright. I understand how you are feeling. I accept your apology."

The female banker seemed to have just escaped death: "Thank you. I promise it won't happen again."

After leaving the bank, Nathan thinks of Matilda Hamilton and buys her a gift. He is motivated by the fact that he now has more money and wants to show his appreciation for her. She helps him a lot.

Nathan visits "The Grand" mall, known for luxury and exclusivity, catering to the wealthy and fashionable. The mall features high-end designer stores, fine dining, and state-of-the-art cinemas, and it's a big complex with multiple levels and a spacious atrium.

It was the first time he felt confident enough to visit the mall, as he had been financially unable to do so.

Upon arriving at the mall, Nathan enters a designer fashion store, where he meets with disdain from a saleswoman. Despite her cold demeanor, Nathan looks around the store, scanning the racks of handbags.

Later, a wealthy-looking fat man, accompanied by a beautiful girl, enters the shop. The saleswoman's attitude immediately changes. She beams with a friendly smile and greets them warmly.

Nathan spots one that catches his eye, a sleek and sophisticated black leather handbag.

He picks it up and inspects it closely, noting its high-quality craftsmanship and luxurious feel. He turns to the saleswoman, who is helping the fat man, and waits for her to finish.

Nathan saw that she seemed free, so he spoke up: "Excuse me, I'm interested in this handbag. Can you tell me more about it?"

The saleswoman is expressing her skepticism toward Nathan. She rolled her eyes and said: "That bag is out of your price range. You can't afford it."

Nathan replied casually: "I understand that it might be expensive, but I would still like to know more about it."

The saleswoman who in a dismissive tone: "Fine, it's a designer bag made of the finest leather, and it has a high price tag to match."

Nathan nodded: "I see, but can you please tell me more about the features and the craftsmanship?"

The saleswoman said rudely: "I don't have time for you; I already told you, you can't afford it. I have real customers to deal with."

Nathan refuted her words: "I'm not going to excuse you. I am a customer and have the right to know about the product."
