Ashton felt infuriated to the core as he barged out of his room. He was on his way down the stairs when his phone began vibrating in his hold and he growled and almost threw it at the wall.

He tried to remain calm as he looked at the screen and he was surprised to see the name ‘Elizabeth’ playing on the screen.

He thought about ignoring the call but the woman hung up just then and immediately redialled his number.

He slid it to the answer button and hurriedly spoke into the phone as he hurried down the stairs. “Ms. Cooper, I'll have to call you back, I am kind of in the middle of something very important to me.”

He tried to sound calm as he spoke but the impatience showed like clear water in his voice.

“Mr Pearce, I need you to remain in the hotel until I arrive there.” Elizabeth said in a sort of commanding tone.

“What's going on?” Ashton asked, still heading out of the hotel.

“I have the ashwagandha plant ready for you and I think you'd like it fresh.” She explained to him.
