Rebecca gritted her teeth as she watched Elizabeth walk away. She suddenly found herself worrying if that slut was a slut at all!

With the confidence in her voice and the look of certainty on her face, perhaps there was something she already knew, but even the gods knew she would never tell her.

Myles walked up to her where she stood and watched Elizabeth and Ashton with a clear look of anger and irritation on his face. "Don't you worry, Rebecca, I'll make that spoiled brat go on her knees in a month's time; you just wait."

That was one thing Myles and she were beyond certain of. Ashton could never reach him, talk more about surpassing him; he couldn't even do it in his dreams!

Rebecca gulped down her saliva as a feeling of uneasiness rose inside of her. "I can't help but feel like something is wrong somewhere."

But she couldn't quite place her finger on it.

Elizabeth sat in a private room at Sky Castle. The manager of her company had piled up a list of candidates listed for the partnership, and she didn't even bother to read any others. Elizabeth rose to her feet with a sigh. "Well, I'm only doing this because of you. I would have loved to give the contract to Mr Gomez if it wasn't for the fact that he said he isn't accepting any deals from anyone in Beaumont for now." Ashton too rose to his feet. He dropped the puzzle block on the table and picked up the box of the magic herb. "Why did he say that?" Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders. "Well okay then. If there's nothing else for me to do here then I'd like to head back to my apartment." "Actually, I would like to introduce you to a few people if you don't mind staying a little longer. Why didn't she just keep quiet all the way?He thought to himself that she probably knew Myles wasn't responsible for it but didn't want to embarrass him. Rather, she would choose to embarrass Ashton since she never even cared about him and even if it was written on clear paper for what he had done, she would never give him the credit he deserved. His mouth opened to speak but she continued her speech. "Ashton, we all know you could never have achieved something like that, not even for us, so the only one lying in cold blood here is you." He scoffed a laugh. "Why do you look like what I'm saying is wrong? How could you be so persistent without even batting an eye?" She arched her brow, looking disappointedly at Ashton.
