Rebecca got home feeling exhausted. She was pretty much tired of the entire activities of the day. She had a long day at work, what with going with Myles to see that friend of the Coopers. The same one whom they met at the club, what was his name again? She honestly couldn't remember his name. She got into the living room and slumped into the nearest couch. The room seemed dark and so she didn't realise that she had company until they spoke.
"How was work today?" A voice spoke very calmly and Rebecca practically jumped to her feet and almost ran away from the room thanks to the fact that the room was dark and she couldn't see exactly where she would be running to.
Diana turned on the light beside her to reveal to Rebecca that she was sitting across her on a couch cross legged.
"Shit Mom!" Rebecca exclaimed in anger as she tried to steady her breathing and fastly beating heart beat. "What are you doing here?" She asked.
Diana regarded her
Thomas' car stopped in the front of the Coopers' mansion and Ashton looked in awe at the building. It was huge. He could say it was magnificent. Ashton continued to stare in awe at the magnificent mansion while Thomas got down from the car and walked around to his side of the car. He tapped lightly on Ashton's door and Ashton had to force himself to stop drooling at the beauty of the place. He eyed Thomas who snickered at him. The asshole. He soon got out of the car and didn't forget to bang at the door, you know, just because he could. They both turned and were met by two officially dressed bald headed men in black tuxes. They both wore sun shades. Ashton wondered within himself whether there was something going on today with the way everyone was putting on sun shades. With that thought in mind, he watched Thomas shake hands with the bald headed men and he did the same."This is my frie
Rebecca and Myles got off of the car as they rounded the corner. They were in the Coopers' villa. Rebecca watched in awe at the magnitude of the buildings. It looked like this was a new city all together. Like it was a city on its own. Rebecca was still watching the beauty of the mansions and buildings in the Coopersville when Myles came to stand beside her. "Do you like what you see?" He asked her and she glanced at him. She looked back at the magnificent buildings. "Remind me of how you are connected to the Coopers again?" She said and he chuckled. He knew she still found it hard to believe that he had connections and personal relationships with the Coopers. She should wait until Hillary Cooper dotes on him in her presence. Myles let out a huff as he put his hands into his pockets. The officially dressed special intelligence security men stood minding their businesses like they weren't hearing the conversation Rebecca was having with Myles. They were that trained. Rebecca couldn'
"Dude," Thomas called as he got into Ashton's office. "She likes you." He said and Ashton rolled his eyes at Thomas' ridiculous insinuation. "Shut up." Ashton muttered as he focused on his personal computer. "I'm telling you," Thomas said. "Did you see the way she watched you though?" He asked and Ashton rolled his eyes again. "Don't you have work to do? Aren't you supposed to be meeting up with deadlines?" Ashton asked with an irritated expression on his face."I forgive you." Thomas said with a smile on his face. "You seem to have forgotten so soon that I am the CEO here and I call the shots." He boasted and Ashton smiled. Thomas was indeed a cocky bastard. "Sometimes I wonder why we're partners, I should have refused your offer back then." Ashton muttered to himself but not so quietly, he wanted Thomas to hear him. "You really need to listen to me though," Thomas went on and Ashton shook his head tiredly at him. "She's into you." He told him and Ashton eyed Thomas. "You seem
Ashton drove along the road thinking deeply about everything that went on in the station. Angel sat quietly in the passengers seat. She wrapped her arms around herself as she sat like she was catching a cold. Ashton clenched his fists against the steering wheels while he drove. He was fuming evidently. He did not know what to do with his anger. He drove with so much speed that Angel was beginning to worry. She looked alarmed at him but dared not utter a word. Not if she didn't want him to cuss her out. They soon got to a traffic stop and Ashton came to halt with a screech."Shit!" He muttered in frustration, aggressively slapping at the horns of the car and the car gave a loud and noisy honking sound, there by drawing a lot of attention to them. Angel cowered in humility. She knew how angry. Only a matter of seconds now and he would explode. She counted as she bid her time.OneTwoThree"I can't believe you would freaking do that!" He
She was satisfied. She was now very satisfied. There was now a rift between the both of them. I fucking saw it with my own eyes. The plan was working even though it wasn't going as planned. Cole was supposed to be the angry one at Ava, then again, a win is a win, is it not? When I had seen them walk down that street walk together, I felt nothing but rage and anger. Rage that they didn't seem to be heeding to what I wanted them to heed to. It seemed like with the plans I had set coming their ways they seemed to be getting more and more closer to each other rather than drifting apart. I hated that so much. I wanted to kill Ava with my hands but then I saw an outlet and decided to go for it.Apparently Cole hadn't informed his beloved mate about the prophecy that was said. So I attacked with it and watch Ava draw away from Cole. It was fucking supposed to be the other way but since Cole wouldn't bulge, I had to focus on Ava.Now I stood in my room
The sheriff unlocked the door to Ashton's cell and allowed him to come out. Ashton eyed him with tired eyes as he headed out and met face to face with Thomas. He let out a smile as he walked towards where Thomas stood. No doubt, Thomas had done something about his arrest and he was thankful for that."Hey man." Thomas said to him as Ashton raised a brow at him tiredly. "How you feeling?" Thomas asked him and Ashton nodded his head."I'm good." He said to Thomas. He felt tired and exhausted. He wasn't able to have a good night's sleep because the bed in that cell was full of dirts and the sheets looked like someone had jerked off in the sheets. The mere thought of it made him want to gag."I've been better." Ashton said correcting himself, deciding that he infact wasn't good. Thomas, ever ready to taunt him saw this as an open opportunity, chuckled at him. Ashton rolled his eyes when he saw that that was what Thomas was trying to do.<
Rebecca pulled up into the parking lot of the plaza in which Myles had texted her to come to. It was a big one. From his message the friends were hanging out for a gaming session and drinks. She turned off the engine of her car as she grabbed her designers hand bag along with her designers sunshades as she got down from the car and locked it with a beep from her car keys. She looked around the place one last time before she walked into the building. Myles had directed her on the steps to take to get to where they were. She followed his direction as she walked to the waiter that showed her the elevator to take to get to the floor she was going to; the fifth floor of the building. She got into the elevator with a janitor and she chose to stand as far away from him as possible as if he carried a virus. Even the janitor noticed what she was doing with the way she went about with it.She looked away from him disgustedly as she wished th
Ashton saw the car that was pack in front of the house from the window. He watched Elizabeth get off of the car. She had on a dress that flowed with a jacket she simply placed on her shoulders without having to wear it. She had on a pair of dark sun shades and she wore shiny red heels. Ashton could see that her hair was well groomed and let down behind her back. He continued to watch her from the window in his office that overlooked the park.He wondered why she was here? Did she come to speak with Thomas or to him? Or was she here for the both of them?....He saw her disappear through the entrance underneath and just then, Thomas joined him at the window."What 'you peaking at from up here?" Thomas asked him and he turned to Thomas."I think we've got a visitor." Ashton told him. Thomas took a sip from the cup of coffee he had in his hand."Business visitors?" He asked and Ashton let out a sigh."You'll see." H
