Elizabeth rose to her feet with a sigh. "Well, I'm only doing this because of you. I would have loved to give the contract to Mr Gomez if it wasn't for the fact that he said he isn't accepting any deals from anyone in Beaumont for now."

Ashton too rose to his feet. He dropped the puzzle block on the table and picked up the box of the magic herb. "Why did he say that?"

Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders.

"Well okay then. If there's nothing else for me to do here then I'd like to head back to my apartment."

"Actually, I would like to introduce you to a few people if you don't mind staying a little longer. The herb is safe here and it will be in your room by the time you get there." She assured him with a look of certainty in her eyes.

Ashton nodded his head as he dropped the box back on the table.

"You go ahead, I'll meet you in a few minutes." She told him.
