“I already told you mom. I forgive him but I cannot forget what he did. He deprived me of my family for years because of his actions,” Jack said to his mother.

He was now back home in Milton city and the family of four had just concluded dinner when his mother brought up the topic of Jack going to see his uncle again.

“I know what he did was wrong and I do not support or condone his behaviour in any way. In fact, it was I who made sure your father had him locked up for a long time when everyone else wanted to keep it hush and within the family but you have to at least hear what he has to say. It’s the first time he’s reached out since he has been locked in there, maybe the time that has passed has caused him to have a change of heart.”

Alice was not happy with Christopher in any way. In fact, she was probably more mad at him than Jack himself but at the end of the day, Christopher was still her brother.
