Christopher Newton, Jack’s uncle still harboured deep hatred for Jack. Even though Aaron Bolton, Jack’s father had used his powers to keep him in jail, Christopher lived like royalty in there and he knew everything that was going on in the outside world.

The White Finger with their many connections had done extensive research on Jack, his family and businesses. They knew all the enemies and allies that he had in Coral city and that he had crippled many of them financially or otherwise.

The only person who hated Jack with the kind of resources they needed was Christopher Newton.

The thumb and the index decided to pay him a visit in prison to clearly state their position. They had two plans to get him to join them. The first one was to bank on his hate and hope he would join their crusade and the other was to coerce him with incriminating information that they found about him.
