CHAPTER 137

SOLANA BEACH, SAN DIEGO.

Detective Jain Reynolds watched the water splurge onto the beach stopping a few inches from her feet. She was standing on the beach with her hands shoved in the pockets of her brown leather jacket. The sunset looked beautiful as she watched it through the shades she wore. Her platinum blonde hair was pulled back neatly into a ponytail making her look gorgeous.

Jain wondered why she was there. She had come for one purpose alone—Nostalgia. It wasn’t the next emotion to hold on to. After having a series of nightmares, she felt it was next she came back to make peace with herself. A lot was going on in her mind, and she didn’t know what else to do.
