“I thought we were going to head back home?” Jain asked as they headed into their Airbnb. “Well, Los Angeles is a two-hour flight back, and my pilots are off duty for the night,” Rylan said, closing the door behind them. The door opened and a figure dressed in suit stepped into the facility. The sounds of footsteps echoed through the hallway as the figure made its way toward the door. When it arrived, a guard was waiting by the door who was heavily armed. He opened the door and stepped forward. “You’re firing me?” Rylan Daystar asked, baffled. Frederick McCullough, his father-in-law was backing him now, facing the glass wall with his hands behind him. Rylan was in total disbelief. “Shit!” Rylan yelled as he sat before his MacBook. Eve Daystar rushed out of the kitchen to see what was going on. She found Rylan, her husband looking distraught as he rubbed his head facing his MacBook. There was a glass of scotch beside him as he sat on the dining table which was just outside the kitchen.
