CHAPTER 42

Lana looked like a Greek goddess dressed in a white gown with good embroideries decorating it. Her short black hair and hazel eyes shone under the chandeliers that lit the hall. In her hand was a glass of champagne and on her face was a flirty smile as she scanned Rylan. He didn’t look bad either. He was looking gorgeous in that vanilla suit and it made her want to lick it off him. He was stunning as she expected. There was something about his amber eyes that pulled her closer to him constantly. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it was irresistible.

“Rylan Daystar,” she said in a flirtatious voice.

Rylan smiled and took a sip of his champagne glass. He never knew that Lana would look so stunning.

“My, my. You look outstanding, Mrs. Pierce,” Rylan complimented.

Lana scoffed.

“You don’t look bad either,” she confessed.

“I’m flattered.”

Lana chuckled.

“I presume you haven’t forgotten the reason for your attendance, sir?” Williams' voice sounded from the comms.

“Shut up, Williams,”
