A New Addition

Driven by the urgent call of his wife, Lucas rushed to his car and drove to Bobby's house. Alex and Albert could have followed him, but Zach cautioned them to stay back. He didn't want Clara to be overwhelmed with fear when she saw many people in her house. The trauma of Lilliana’s death had not left her yet. A strange person would think she was Lilliana's biological daughter, with the way she kept crying everyday.

Lucas met them at Bobby's parking lot. Clara was being held by Lilly and Bobby following behind them with a stack of baby things they would need in the hospital.

Clara was squeezing her face and she was blowing out air from her mouth every second. She was consumed with the pain and contraction of labor, so she couldn't acknowledge Lucas's presence.
