A quest for land purification

Somewhere in the suburban part of the city of Oslo twenty-nine years ago, a young woman was in labor. Today was her fourth day of strenuous labor. Her husband, a healer, had done everything in his power to make his wife deliver with ease, but everything proved abortive. It was like the difficult delivery was an influence of a dark spell cast on his wife.

He knew little magic but he wasn't good at casting spells. His enemy knew casting spells was his only weakness and the person used it against him. He had cured several people with difficult illnesses, but fate made it difficult for him when it reached his turn.

He had run Helter and Skelter to summon several sorcerers for help, but none was ready to help because of the fear of his elder brother who had become a tyrant to their kingdom. His elder brother had warned any sorcerer from saving his wife, or else the person would die a brutal death.
