The Dinner Date

Lilly's room was scattered with different colors and designs of dresses, she was confused about the one to pick. Today was her first date with her beloved, as the previous one he promised her after she was discharged from the hospital was canceled. She ought to have been offended and kept malice with him for several days, but his reason for canceling the date was genuine, so she had to keep calm and wait for him to pick another date.

She would have picked a date herself, but she didn't want to sound desperate or tamper with her self-esteem. She wanted Lucas to treat her like a queen and be in charge as a man, not the other way around.

Lucas was on his way to pick up Lilly some days after she was discharged when his phone rang. He checked his phone and Bobby's name was shown on the screen. He was met with a terrified voice as he picked up his call.

" Lucas please, I want you to drop everything you are doing presently, then come to my house. It's an urgent plea please" Bobby said over
