Lucas rubbed his eyes and sat upright on the bed, “ What are you talking about?” He feigned ignorance.

“ Don't even try to patronize me with that look. You had better start explaining now. Who is Dave?” Lilly glared at him.

Lucas knew it's time for him to reveal his true identity to his fiancee, there is no need to hide anything anymore.

“ Dave is my friend and my confidant. He has helped me to resolve the most difficult situation I have encountered in my life, so he is very important to me” he answered calmly.

“ Okay, why were you murmuring his name in your sleep?” Lilly asked.

Lucas looked confused, “ How would I have known what I did while sleeping? The question you just asked is rhetorical, babe.” Lucas said.

Lilly shrugged her shoulders when she saw that she was overreacting. She turned her face from Lucas’s deep stare because she didn't want to look like a fool.

“ You said earlier that you are a warlord and you can challenge any sorcerer, start explaining what you mean by that.”
