CHAPTER 42: NO CHOICE

Instead of giving her a chance to speak, I immediately turned my back on her. I walked towards the table again to get some fruit to feed her.

There are many different fruits in the basket. There are oranges, grapes, bananas, apples, and many more. All the fruits that are in front of me right now have been already peeled that is why I can feed her more easily.

I chose orange fruit to feed her and when I already had the small tupperware container in my left hand, I then walked back to her bed and sit there again.

As I walked back to her and when I sat down again, I could feel her eyes on me but I pretended that I did not notice it even though the fast beating of my heart is still not tired.

Right after I sat down on her hospital bed, I immediately brought a piece of orange to her mouth, but instead of her accepting it, she just kept her mouth closed which made me look at her.
