CHAPTER 51: FURIOUS

I just woke up from a deep sleep when I heard a series of knocks from my door that quickly made me feel bad.

Instead of standing up to check who it was, I chose to cover my ear with a pillow so I couldn't hear the noise.

I was about to go to sleep again when I heard the loud knocking again, this time I think there were a lot of people outside my door and since I had no choice, I got up from my bed and then walked towards my door.

When I opened it, I was ready to yell at the people I saw for disturbing my sleep, but before I could yell at them, I heard the voice of one of them.

"We are really sorry for disturbing your sleep, boss, but we received a call that there was a problem at your company," he politely said, which made my forehead frown even more and because I was not in the mood to talk talking to them I quickly closed the door.

Instead of going back to bed to sleep, I chose to go straight to my bathroom to take a quick shower and just five minutes later I was done.
