Shortly after the conversation, Ava brought grandfather’s food. The atmosphere was back to normal. Grandfather was a business tycoon, even though he was a Playboy boy but he was very ruthless and heartless and so is Alaric. The emotion that was on their faces all vanished and things came back to normal.

“Grandfather I have brought your food, it’s your favorite food so please eat more.” Ava placed the rice on a small table and grandfather started eating.

Shortly after he was done, he was discharged.

“Grandfather, where do you want to go?” Ava asked after she was done with the discharge procedures.

Hmm! I don’t even know where to go. The old house is full of sad memories. But I am more familiar and I have live there all my life so I will go there.” Grandfather said with a tinge of sadness in his voice.

“But Grandfather, the house is empty and besides you will be lonely and sad living here alone.” Ava said while tears welled up in her eyes. No, no she is not going to cry. No matte
