LENA'S DESPERATION

Lena walked into Taylor's office on a Tuesday afternoon, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on Taylor, who was sitting behind his desk. He looked up and frowned when he saw her.

"Lena, what are you doing here?" he asked, his voice cold.

Lena took a step forward, a small smile playing on her lips. "I just wanted to see you," she said, her eyes sparkling.

Taylor's frown deepened. "We haven't spoken in years, Lena, until I met you recently. What makes you think it's okay to just show up at my office?"

Lena's smile faltered, but she quickly recovered. "I just wanted to catch up, see how you're doing," she said, moving closer to Taylor's desk.

Taylor leaned back in his chair, his arms folded across his chest. "I'm doing just fine, thanks. But I think it's time for you to leave now."

Lena's eyes flickered with disappointment, but she didn't give up. "Taylor, don't you remember the good times we had together?" she asked, her voice taking on a sultry tone.
