NOT AROUND

Now, it was glaring to Mr Smith that there was nothing he could do to get anything more from Jakes.

He had made all attempts to make sure that he and his family were given more of his brother's companies but it seemed like an impossible feat to achieve.

For some months now, he had been sending a good part of the company's revenue to the account number Todd gave to him, out of fear.

"I'm no longer going to be involved in this whole thing. I won't be sending any money into that account you gave to me since Pen and Rescue is all we can get from Jakes," Mr Smith told his son.

"No, Dad. I think that's risky. What if they come after us when they notice that you've stopped sending money to that account?" Todd asked his father.

"Then, we'll face it! We can no longer continue to act like cowards!" Mr Smith said with seriousness in his voice.

"Dad!"

"I'll talk to you later, Todd," Mr Smith said as he hung up on the phone. Todd knew there was nothing he could do to convince his father now.
