016 - Eschew

There was a knock on the door three times with the same tempo and rhythm. The owner of the room replied, "Please come in."

The door opened, and a neatly dressed man entered, who immediately saluted the owner of the room. "What's wrong, Preston?" Mr. Hawthorne asked as soon as he saw his assistant enter with an indescribable face.

"Mr. Theo was not found in his room." Preston answered curtly.

"What do you mean? Doesn't he have a training schedule right now?" Mr. Hawthorne didn't understand and put down the pen that had been neatly knotted in his fingers.

"No, sir. Mr. Theo is resting and will continue training after lunch. However, now I can't find Mr. Theo anymore." Preston could only lower his head and look at his hands in front of him.

Preston's heart wanted to drop at that moment because he was the one who was responsible for him, and now he was gone. Preston didn't know where he had gone and found only a letter left on the table. Mr. Hawthorne jumped up from his chair and frowned
