029 - Hawthorne & Collins

Landon took Megan to his car and opened the door for Megan. "Thank you," said Megan, getting into the car.

Landon jogged to the driver's seat, readied himself, and then started the engine. The car Megan was riding in was moving fast. Silence enveloped Megan and Landon during the journey to the Hawthorne family residence. Megan didn't bother either and just stared at the window. Megan is more worried about what will happen to her after this.

Megan took her cell phone and then called her mother. "Hello, mom," Megan said flatly.

"Where have you been?" Megan's mother's voice could be heard clearly from behind the phone.

Megan moved her ear away from her cell phone and answered, "Megan has business matters, so Megan will be home late." Megan explained with a tired expression.

"What business matters? Don't make excuses, Megan."

"Sorry, mom, Megan has to go." Megan immediately hung up the phone.
