Chapter 22

Mr. Davis headed straight to the manager's office, he wanted to go report Mark as he felt his lateness was getting out of hand. He was acting like he wasn't an employee but a boss, even the manager comes earlier than he does.

He felt telling his colleagues what Mark's mother-in-law did to him wasn't enough. He wanted to see him queried and scolded in front of everyone.

He would be very happy if Mark is asked to leave or is suspended. He knocked on the manager's office door and the manager asked him to come in which he did.

The manager looked up to check who it was and recognized him when he walked in.

"Mr. Davis," he called as he approached him.

"Good morning Sir!" Mr. Davis said humbly and came to stand before the manager.

"You may have a seat," the manager said to him. Mr. Davis thanked him before sitting down.

"What do I owe for this urgent visit? I don't remember inviting you or your department to my office," the manager said, looking suspiciously at Mr. Davis.
