Chapter 78
Mark opened his eyes and looked around slowly. His head was hurting badly and he felt as if it was being banged by thousands of hammers.

The fatigue in his body was overwhelming and half of his clothes were burnt.

The pain he was feeling in his back was the most intense and he was lying amongst some shrubs.

"What had just happened?" He muttered holding his head as he sat up trying to remember why he was lying on the bush.

"Arghh!!"

Mark screamed as memories drifted into his head. It was not supposed to be painful, but yet it was.

What the hell was happening? After a while the pain stopped, but that didn't mean that it was all gone completely.

Mark's head still hurt and he was absolutely weak so he found he couldn't move.

Mark could care about this and looked up toward the house that was still burning.

In a normal case, the firefighters should have arrived but they weren't here, it seems like the person behind this was able to stop them from coming meaning he was very influential.
