Chapter 139
Two jet skis raced swiftly, battling against the wind and waves. For now, John's jet ski was leading the race. Proudly, he thought to himself, "Stephen, I will make sure you regret daring to race against me on jet skis!" Grinning behind his black helmet.

Not willing to give up quickly, Stephen concentrated fully, facing forward and keeping an eye on the buoys floating above the sea as track markers. They chased each other, passing turn after turn.

"Ah, that turn is my chance!" exclaimed Stephen as he spotted the orange buoy marking the next corner.

Being in a favorable inside line position, Stephen confidently pressed the throttle to increase speed. Just before the turn, he reduced his speed at the right moment, successfully maneuvering through the sharp bend and overtaking John.

Water splashed towards John, obscuring his vision. He cursed loudly, "Damn it! I'll get you in the next turn!" He almost crashed into a buoy and veered off the track.
