She drove straight to Forklam Avenue, about a mile away from her place, Berkeley Hills. There was quite a distance between them.
She drove with rage and annoyance. She has been pissed from morning when she just woke up to now which was almost noon time. Immediately she left Graham, she had gone to a restaurant to arrange her thoughts and emotions, have a breakfast then processed what's next to do.She could believe she spent more than an hour at Graham's hideout. That's sick, she thought to herself.Out of all her problems, only one has been solved. A spontaneous meal that was needed and she got a large delicious meal at the high end restaurant. There was only one name on her mind and she was going to deal with or face them to enquire what the duck were they thinking? As she thought about it, the angrier she got. She just lost a shot at getting Leonard and according to what Graham told her she had to pay another fee to secure his service and she wasn't ready for tShe slowly drove through the muddy parts of the road before parking by the side of the road. She alighted and had a very visible expression of anger on her face. She was still frustrated from this morning, hoping to get the person who caused this frustration. She looked around before taking the parts that had footprints and leading into the woods. She packed her hair into a ponytail and she kicked some dust before her as she commenced her walk into the woods. She was dressed in an off white tracksuit and gray trainers with a tint of pink. But far in the distance a shadow watched her as approached the large trees that were beginning to build up. The shadow sat on one of the tree's bark, watching silently as it played with a gun like object. Her phone rang and she hissed loudly in frustration as she hurriedly picked it. "You are disturbing the peace of this calm environment. What is it?" She said into the phone. "Where are you?" The pe
Suddenly the door opened with a creaking sound, loud and piercing. With it came an eerie feel as Emily felt a cold sensation all over her body and her hair flying like she was in the wind. She froze as she started hearing an indescribable sound, getting louder as the second went. Her hand was close to her phone when she slowly turned her hand towards the direction of the door, hoping to see nothing and all this was just her imagination. The door was opened, which was confusing because she knew the door was closed initially. There wasn't anyone in the doorway as she could see the clearing before the hut. Just as she was about to turn her head back she saw a figure appear out of nowhere, before her in all black. It was a shadow without a face or arms or legs. A smokey kind of shadow, a black ghost and immediately she let out a piercing scream with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes to see that the figure had gone, without thinking she was out of the hut
He looked into his phone one more time before walking out of his office. He has a pending business out of his office that he needed to attend to and even though his mind was on Emily he still needed to attend to this business. He kept looking at his phone as it made his way to his car in the company's underground garage. Expecting anytime that his phone will ring with the ID caller being Emily. "I just sent you all the details you need to follow the call location and help me locate Emily as soon as possible. I wish I can be there to locate her myself but you understand what's at stake here," he said to his personal assistant with concern, he has his brow wrinkled. "Yes sir!" He answered with a bow before taking the car before Peterson's car. His phone rang immediately and he turned to it but was disappointed with who was calling. "I'm on my way. I'll be there, just be calm. I am already on my way, just give me the next five minutes,"
"What is the matter, Peterson? You look dull and unfocused, which is odd!" Lenon said to Peterson as they watched the men walked away. "I haven't been able to get through to Emily, since she left the house. It's been almost four hours gone," he lamented to his friend. "What do you mean by that? You can't get through to Emily? For the past four hours? What does that even mean? I don't believe you," Lenon said with a little bit of surprise all over his expression. "Yeah, she hasn't been herself since Leonard left the house this morning and after the left the house, I called her and she said she was on her way to get Leonard! I haven't been able to get through to her after that call," he explained, he had this sad frown on his face. "Leonard left? Why? I mean he can, why does she have a problem with that?" Lenon asked, wondering why Emily was throwing an unnecessary tantrum because her boyfriend left. "I don't know!" He replied, staring
His phone rang as he got into his car."We found her phone but she isn't here! There were traces that she was here but there is no sign of her here," his personal assistant said into the phone."Send me the location!" Peterson yelled unintentionally into the phone.Lenon walked back to Peterson's car when he noticed Peterson had moved."Hey, man!" He called as he gently tapped on the window which was slowly wind down by the driver."What sup? Why aren't you moving?" He asked as he peeped into Peterson's car through the window."I just got a message that Emily's phone has been located but she isn't there. Where can she be?" He said looking into the space blankly."She will be fine! Don't worry, so what are you waiting for? What are you up to?" He asked nicely and with curiosity."I am just waiting for him to send me the location of our phone so I can get there and inspect it for myself," he said to Lenon."Okay but do you think it will be nice to go with you? Just as an accompaniment,
The dirt route from the main road linked or rather led into a stony path, not narrow but wide enough to contain two cars at a time.Taking the path straight down leads to a sharp corner which has bushes and little woods on one side. From a distance you can see an upward landscape moving up into some sort of hill.Tracing the hill upward you could see some mountains and the rugged trail that leads to them.By the very sides of the hill, you can see bushes and scrubs and growing trees, palm trees and different other kinds of trees, the ones with the big barks and the one with branches extending to the other side. The trail leading up to one of the mountains, the closest one, is covered up and you have to pave your way with your hands or something when moving up. The other mountains come from behind it, one will wonder how to get to the other mountains but who knows they might be linked to each other through the same trail that leads to the first one. From a distance you could hear the ru
She woke up with a startle, gasping in the process."Ouch!" She said calming before sitting up. She looked around her, taking in her dimly lighted room, she calmed further when she realized she was in her room. The buzzing sound of her phone went off by just a tap on her phone. From a distance she could hear the noise of the busy road. There was a reason she left home and came to her grandfather's place. She sat on the bed with a little bit of her dream remnant in her head. She was still light headed from the sleep and could easily go back to sleep if she wished but she shake It off and looked around her again. Something wasn't adding up according to her mind but she couldn't place a finger on it or she ignored it. She tried remembering what she just saw but she knew for a fact she just saw Leonard. There was a little gap between her curtains so she could see some lightning from outside. It was bright and yellow. One could presume it to be the sun but it's looked fake. She ignored tha
In the very middle of the thick and dense, shadow feeling woods, Lenon stood in the very front of the hut. The eerie hut he visited unintentionally earlier today because of his dear friend. There was an uneasy air, uneasy tension clinging and dancing in the air.The moon tries to shine its light through the thick canopy shading the woods and its surrounding, only a few of the moonlight seem to break through the cracks in the canopy and shine through, leaving the woods and its surrounding in chill darkness. The hut itself stood like some terrifying artifact abandoned and left to rotten.Lenon with a deep frown on his wrinkled face couldn't shake the feeling that something or someone was lingering within the very walls of this desolate place. He wasn't alone this time around and won't let that bother him. With his men behind him, standing firm and equipped with touch light and their shared unease, they were ready to take anything down or tear down the hut apart."Spread out, eyes open,
As Talia, Kael, and Aiden stood before the newly formed gateway, their hearts filled with determination. They knew that closing it would not be easy, but they were prepared to do whatever it took to save their universe from destruction."We need to find a way to close this gateway," Talia said, her voice filled with resolve. "We can't let the darkness consume everything.""We should try using the artifacts," Kael suggested. "They might have the power to seal the gateway for good."Aiden nodded in agreement. "It's worth a shot. Let's give it a try."The three friends approached the gateway, the swirling energy crackling with power. Talia raised the artifacts, channeling their energy towards the gateway. The artifacts glowed brightly, their power surging towards the gateway. For a moment, it seemed as though the gateway was starting to close. But then, with a deafening roar, the gateway erupted in a burst of energy, pushing back against their efforts."We need to try something else," Ai
As Talia pondered the mysterious message she had received, she realized that the evil she had encountered might not be from her universe at all. It could be from another universe, just like hers. This revelation opened up a whole new realm of possibilities. If there were other universes, how many were there? And how were they connected? She decided to consult with Kael and Aiden. Together, they delved into ancient texts and consulted with wise beings from across the universe. What they discovered was both fascinating and terrifying. It turned out that there were indeed countless universes, each with its own set of rules and inhabitants. These universes existed parallel to each other, separated by a thin veil that kept them from interacting. However, something was causing these universes to overlap, creating rifts that allowed beings from one universe to enter another. This overlapping of universes was causing chaos and destruction, threatening to tear apart the very fabric of reality.
Talia stood on the deck of her spaceship, looking out at the stars. The battle against the Galactic Empire had been long and hard-fought, but they had emerged victorious. The Empire had been defeated, and peace had returned to the universe. But as Talia looked out at the vastness of space, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. The evil they had faced had been powerful, more powerful than anything they had ever encountered before. And yet, it had been defeated so easily, almost as if it had wanted to be defeated. As she pondered this, a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Beautiful, isn't it?"Talia turned to see a man standing behind her. He was tall and handsome, with piercing blue eyes and a charming smile."Who are you?" Talia asked, her voice wary. The man chuckled. "I am known by many names, but you may call me Lucian."Talia felt a shiver run down her spine. There was something about this man that unnerved her, something that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
Talia stood on the edge of the cliff, staring out at the vast expanse of the universe spread out before her. It had been several months since the defeat of the Ender of Light, and the universe was at peace once more. But despite the tranquility that surrounded her, Talia could not shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the back of her mind. She missed her mother terribly, the brief reunion they had shared only serving to deepen the void left by her passing. Talia knew that her mother had returned to the spirit realm, unable to remain on Earth for long. But the pain of her loss still weighed heavily on her heart. As she gazed up at the stars, Talia felt a sudden chill run down her spine. She turned to see Aiden and Kael approaching, their expressions grave."Talia, we need to talk," Aiden said, his voice filled with concern.Talia nodded, a sense of foreboding washing over her. She could tell that whatever Aiden had to say was important, and she braced herself for the worst."It'
Talia's heart pounded as she stood face to face with a figure she thought she would never see again—her mother, who had passed away many years ago. The apparition shimmered before her, bathed in an ethereal light that cast long shadows across the room."Talia, my dear," her mother's voice was a soft whisper, filled with both sorrow and urgency. "You are in grave danger. There is an evil force lurking in the shadows, one that seeks to destroy everything you hold dear."Talia's mind raced as she tried to process the sight before her. Was this truly her mother, returned from the dead to deliver a warning? Or was it some trick of the darkness, seeking to manipulate her?"I don't understand," Talia said, her voice barely a whisper. "What do you mean, an evil force?"Her mother's form flickered, as if struggling to maintain its presence. "There is a darkness coming, Talia. A darkness unlike anything you have ever faced before. It seeks to consume the universe, to snuff out all light and lif
Talia, Aiden, and Kael emerged from their battle against the Shadow Walker victorious but weary. The darkness that had threatened to consume the universe had been vanquished, but the toll it had taken on them was evident. They stood on the edge of the universe, the gateway to another universe shimmering behind them."We did it," Aiden said, his voice filled with awe. "We actually did it."Talia and Kael nodded, their faces reflecting a mixture of relief and exhaustion. They had faced the ultimate evil and emerged triumphant, but they knew that their journey was far from over."We should return to our universe," Talia said, her voice soft but resolute. "There's still much to be done there."Aiden and Kael agreed, and together they stepped back through the gateway, returning to their own universe. As they emerged on the other side, they found themselves back in the city of Lumaria, surrounded by its radiant inhabitants. The Lumarians welcomed them back with open arms, celebrating their
Talia, Aiden, and Kael stood in the aftermath of their victory against the Dark One, their bodies weary but their spirits high. The universe around them seemed brighter, as if the darkness that had threatened to consume it had been banished forever."We did it," Aiden said, a smile spreading across his face. "We actually did it."Talia and Kael nodded, their faces mirroring Aiden's joy. They had faced unimaginable challenges and overcome impossible odds, but they had emerged victorious, stronger and more united than ever before. But as they celebrated their victory, a new challenge emerged on the horizon. A rift in the fabric of reality appeared before them, shimmering with an otherworldly light."What is that?" Kael asked, his voice filled with wonder.Talia approached the rift cautiously, sensing a powerful presence emanating from the other side. As she drew closer, she felt a pull, as if the rift was calling out to her."It's a gateway," she said, her voice filled with awe. "A gate
As Talia, Aiden, and Kael lay on the ground, defeated by the Ancient One, they felt a deep sense of despair wash over them. The darkness seemed to press in from all sides, suffocating them with its malevolent presence."We can't give up," Talia said, her voice barely a whisper. "We have to find a way to stop the Ancient One."Aiden and Kael nodded, their eyes filled with determination. They knew that they had to find a way to defeat the Ancient One, no matter the cost. But as they searched for a way to stop the Ancient One, they found themselves facing a new challenge. The darkness that surrounded them was growing stronger, its influence spreading like a cancer throughout the galaxy."We have to find the source of this darkness," Aiden said, his voice filled with urgency. "If we can cut off its source, maybe we can weaken the Ancient One enough to defeat it."With this new plan in mind, the trio set out to find the source of the darkness, traveling to different planets and seeking out
As Talia, Aiden, and Kael stood in the ruined galaxy, the darkness seemed to close in around them. They knew that they had to act quickly to stop the Shadow Lord and save the universe from his tyranny."We need to find out more about the Shadow Lord," Talia said, her voice filled with determination. "We need to know what he's planning and how we can stop him."Aiden nodded, his eyes blazing with resolve. "I'll see if I can track his movements. Maybe we can find a pattern, a weakness we can exploit."Kael looked out at the darkness that surrounded them, his expression grim. "And what about the people of this galaxy? They need our help. We can't just abandon them to the Shadow Lord's whims."Talia placed a hand on Kael's shoulder, her gaze soft but determined. "We won't abandon them, Kael. We'll do everything we can to protect them. But we need to stop the Shadow Lord first."With a renewed sense of purpose, the trio set out to gather information about the Shadow Lord and his plans. The
