Now Phil doesn't have a place to stay. He used his last money to come down here. He was only coming here because he wanted to confront his father about his unpaid allowance.

He didn't know that he would come to hear the news about how his father had been thrown into prison.

He is the first to leave the hospital room. He pushes the door and rushes out, as if the air in there has suddenly turned unbreathable.

He takes off his jacket and squats as he stares at the ground. Where is he going to go? What is he going to do? He has never had to work a day in his life.

He was homeschooled when he wasn't too sick to go learn and after highschool level, he refused any further attempts of his father to instill knowledge into him.

Now, his benefactor is gone and he is troubled because he thinks that he is going to wither away in a few days. He can't live without his father.

He feels a hand on his shoulder and he raises his head. It's Adriana, she looks sorry for him.
