Golden Heights School is the name of the school that Andrew wants his daughter to attend. It's one of the most expensive schools in the city, they pay a very ridiculous amount of money for the children of only the richest to attend. Every few years, they give scholarships to very talented children, but it rarely happens. Ruby can't believe that she is bringing her child to attend one of these big schools in the city. She grew up attending one of them and even went to the best university, but Uma has never attended a school like this. She was born at a hard time when Ruby and her parents got kicked out of their family without money or any means of support. So seeing them pull up in front of the school brings tears to her ears. Thanks to Andrew, her baby will be able to get a good education. “Mummy, is this going to be my new school?” Uma gasps. “It looks like a palace from my cartoons!” “Wait till you see the inside, Uma,” Ruby whispers with a giggle. She sweeps Uma off her fe
“What?” Ruby frowns. The security enters immediately. He had a smile on his face, he warned Ruby but she didn't listen to him. “Are you going to throw us out of your school? Because you think that we can't afford it?” Ruby scoffs. “How discriminatory can you be?!” “I do not care, you think that this is a prank? I am going to have you arrested for thinking you can come in here and waste my time!” The principal shouts. Ruby has not stopped trying Andrew's number and she is holding Uma very tightly to herself. If the security tries to put his hand on her, she will punch him in the throat. Thank God that Andrew finally picks up. “Hello, Ruby? Is everything alright?” He asks. “No, Andrew, the principal of the school wants to throw us out! She thinks our money is fake and she also thinks that we won't be able to pay for a year!” She hears Andrew growls under his breath. “I will be there in five minutes. Don't move.” He ends the call. She looks up at the pissed-off principal. “My h
The lying principal can now see that she has been caught in her lies, so she falls flat on her face and starts to beg for mercy. Miss Fairchild is enraged like a mad bull. “How dare you? You haven't just disrespected a great man who is a friend of my family, you have also stolen from my family!”“Please, Miss Fairchild, it's the devil!” The principal cries. “Please don't condemn me, I promise that I am a changed woman.” Miss Fairchild is not convinced by this at all. “Take her away, and make sure to lock her up!” The principal screams and begs for mercy, but no one listens to her. She is dragged out of the place and Andrew does nothing to save her. Miss Fairchild sighs as she pushes her hair away from her face. “It's so bothersome that someone can't trust anyone around here.. please, overlord, can you and your family sit?” They all sit back down. Her guards are standing behind them, their hands folded. Miss Fairchild operates the computer herself and completes the registration
Since her mission to get Mister Burno to sign the contract has failed, Adriana sadly returns to New York. She calls in sick to the office because she doesn't want her grandfather to confront her. If he finds out that Mister Burno still doesn't want to sign the papers, she is going to be thrown out of the family. She remembers growing up in a house that barely had food and also lacked warmth in the winter. She hated her parents and swore that she wasn't going to be like them. So when Mister William Sanchez offered her the opportunity to leave them, she didn't even think twice about it. Now that she has tasted the good life, she would rather die than to go back. She is ready to sell her soul to the devil if that's the price that she has to pay. Her servants notice that she is in a bad mood, so they quickly greet her and retire to their quarters. She goes into her room and jumps into the shower. The cold shower is giving her the bare minimum of relief, but she is going to take it.
Three years ago, Thomas went to Mister Romanoff to ask him to pay him for a job that he did for him, but Mister Romanoff refused. Thomas needed the money because Uma was just a few years old and was very sick. He insisted on collecting his money because he wanted to rush his granddaughter to the hospital, but Mister Romanoff spat on him and ordered his guards to throw Thomas out. Luckily, Uma survived the illness and Thomas never had the courage to ask for his money again, but he never forgot about it. Finding out that now that Mister Romanoff has sent him his money seems to be like a dream to him. The money is just $1500 but it's a very huge amount for Thomas and it still is now. “Honey, can you see?!” He waves the money for Doreen to see. She is so emotional that she rushes into his arms. “Oh my God, he has finally paid you! This is a cause of celebration!” Ruby has her hand against her chin, but she has a smile on her face. She likes how happy her parents look. Andrew looks
Argh! Adriana bangs her hand against the door. She is going to kill this church rat called Andrew. Does he even know who she is? Or that she can destroy the life of everyone in this house if they refuse to open the door for her?! “Open the door before I find someone to demolish this shed!” But no one comes to the door. She growls as she walks out and drives off with great speed. Thomas, Doreen, and Ruby are watching from the window. Andrew won't let any of them answer the door and now Adriana has left with so much anger. “Andrew, you have destroyed us all.” Thomas shakes his head. “She is going to buy this entire estate and kick us out.” “She won't dare,” Andrew says without a bother. She can't do such a thing because he will buy it before her. This is a game and he is entirely the master. He will frustrate the hell out of Adriana and every member of the Sanchez family that made Ruby and her parents suffer. “Do you know how much the contract she is getting him to sign will fetch
“A car?” Ruby is astonished. Does he mean that they should go and look at cars just for the fun of it because she knows that they don't have the money to buy a car? “Why, Ruby? Don't you want to own a car?” He asks her. “But we can't afford a car, Andrew. Have you forgotten that both of us don't have a job and that we are barely making it by?” “Oh, Ruby, you worry a lot. Now, don't spoil the fun. Let me take you to a car showroom before Mum, Dad and Uma come back.” Ruby is lost because she knows that Andrew can't afford to buy a car. The last time she had a car, it was a black Ferrari that she got herself as soon as she graduated from the university. Her parents always wanted to get a car for her, but she was very determined to get it for herself, she wanted something that she would cherish very much. She loved her car, but Adriana took it away from her when her family was thrown out. It saddened her whenever she saw Adriana cruising with the car around the city. “Come,” Andr
The salesman, Williams looks at Ruby and Andrew in disgust. Ruby inhales sharply. This is the reason why she didn't want to come here in the first place. She grabs Andrew's arm and gives it a little squeeze. “Can we just leave, Andrew? Before it gets worse.” “Leave without getting you the car?” He snorts. “That's not going to happen.” Newbie is looking cluelessly behind William. William is examining the card. “This is a fake card, isn't it?” William frowns. “Did you two steal this?” “We are not thieves,” Ruby mutters. “Just give the card and we will be on our way.” “We are leaving in the car,” Andrew says without fear. “So, what seems to be the problem?” William looks at Andrew and wonders where he got his audacity from. “Do you know how much this car is? You want to scam the young boy who just started working here.” William accuses them. “Don't worry, I will call the police to come and pick you up!”Ruby feels the chill of fear run down her spine. The police? She doesn't wan
