Chapter 48

After an hour, Rosalie and Chloe went home and met Dallas mopping the floor. Sadness shows on the face of Rosalie. She didn’t greet Dallas before sitting beside Chloe in the sitting room.

Dallas was confused if Rosalie recognize him at the bank.

If she recognizes me, she would definitely tell me, Dallas said to himself. Dallas carried a dirt bucket of water into the bathroom, and then hurried to the room to see if he had kept his gun and mask.

He sighed heavily and was peaceful within because he had kept his gun and mask already.

Dallas returned to the sitting room, saying, “what’s going on? I don’t expect you guys to come home early. What’s the matter?”

“We saw Den today,” Rosalie said.

Dallas raised his eyebrows, glancing at Chloe. “Den?”

“Yes. He helps the people get back their money at the bank,” Chloe said.

“Den doesn’t want me to come near him. He run away when he see me coming,” Rosalie said.
