Chapter 55

Mr. President arrived at the party with enthusiasm. The people in the hall stood when Mr. President was walking to the front. When he reached the stage, the people went silent.

Mr. President looked at the front, and begins his speech by welcoming the family of Jones. He talks good about them, making the old Mrs. Jones became more excited.

Drake and his friends feel jealous because Mr. President speaks about the Jones family first. Sherrie wants to walk out of the enormous hall, but Drake stops him from standing.

"We need to deal with Rosalie's family," Chris whispered in Raymond's ear.

"Why?” Raymond asked.

"The president doesn't notice us because of them. At least, we must be praised first instead of the riffraff family."

"It's not a big deal. That's how the president should do. It would make the Jones family feel more ashamed of themselves in the people's presence. They would wish they didn't come here."
