Witnessing the unwilling spirit in Rick, Aiden was dumbstruck. Although he didn't know the latter that much, he had a little idea. From the time he's spent with the gang, he discovered that Rick was the unserious type. As such it was a bummer to see him caring so much for someone else.

"You are not going to give up are you?" Jericho sighed in defeat before waving his hands, causing the space around them to enter a distorted state..

When it went back to normal, Xaine was nowhere to be found.

"I kept him in my pocket dimension. It's an Hex I rarely use" Jericho explained as blood trickled out from his nostrils.

"Y-Your nose!" Sally pointed at the blood with a worried expression.

"I'm fine" Jericho wiped off the blood.

"It's a side effect from using that Hex. Right now Xaine is currently safe, at least while I am alive" he mumbled the last part before glancing down at the Guurus that were currently beneath them.

"I think we should get out of here" he told Sally.
