With Spark holding down Kai, the group managed to pass through the portal unhindered. And when they did, they instantly arrived at a large unfamiliar hall.

The first thing that came to their notice was the sinister looking blood red altar alongside the blood essence accumulator.

"What the hell!" Rio scrunched his nose in disgust.

It couldn't be helped since the atmosphere of the hall was hung up with a thick ironic smell of blood.

"Hm?" perhaps due to his outburst, Lennox sensed their arrival, causing him to glance towards their direction.

"How did you lot manage to get past Kai!" Lennox sounded shocked when he saw the new arrivals.

He had sent Kai to his intercept the group because he had a premonition that none of Kaito's goons would make the cut.

However he never would've expected that his colleague would fail as well.

His eyes suddenly went pitch black like his attention was focused on something. When they regained their usual color, his expression became grimly serious.
