This is the end of Yellow Peach Springs Arc.. Thanks for reading..
Drip. Drip. Drip. The sound of rain dripping loudly on the grass broke the solemn silence within a fairly large cemetery. All around the cemetery were silver colored erected pillars; tombstones of those who had been buried there in the past. Huddled before one of such tombstones was a group consisting of about twenty individuals, all dressed in black while holding umbrellas as they shielded themselves from the downpour. If one looked closely enough, they would be able to spot the vivid characters on the surface of the tombstone that read 'In the Memory Of A Beloved Daughter and Friend.. Tasha Ravenloth.... "You didn't go for Tasha's funeral?" Aiden who was standing besides the window in his bedroom turned towards the door as Butler Nicholas made his way in. It had been two days since Tasha's death. Today was a Saturday and the day her funeral was held. "It wasn't like we were close or something" Aiden grunted as he retraced his gaze from the Butler. "Maybe" Butler Nicholas
Boom! Boom! Thud.. Landing on the rocky surface, Aiden stared at the corpse of the Feind race member laying at his feet as he let out a sigh. After that night incident, Aiden had thought about a lot of things and decided that it was best to give Kaine, the Blood Reapers Gang and infact the whole world a break. Thanks to his encounter with Lennox, he came to realize that the world wasn't how many people thought it was. Sure he had a system that could grant him the ability to steal others abilities. But even with the many abilities at his arsenal, he couldn't prevent the death of Tasha. Although the both of them were not that close prior to her death, he had mistakenly marked her. That meant she was his responsibility even if she never knew that. As such watching her die right before his eyes hit him very badly. He felt like a total idiot who was too weak to protect the ones dear to him. As such to clear his head, he spent more than half of his days going on a rampage within th
"Hello lad. Are you here to get your bike? I was waiting for you to arrive before I close my shop for the day" As soon as Aiden stepped into the a bike repair shop, he heard a soft chuckle. Looking over, he spotted a middle aged man in yellow coverall that was stained with dirty grease. The man was leaning against a work bench, smoking from the blunt trapped between both of his fingers. "Sorry for the delay " Aiden's apologized.. Last time he checked the time before leaving the mansion, it was a few minutes past six pm. "No biggie. As long as you pay me, I can even hold out till midnight " the bike shop owner chuckled as he went inside his shop. A few moments later, he returned while dragging Aiden's bike. "It was nice doing business with you" Aiden smiled lightly as he fished out a few rolled out bank notes before handing it over to the bike shop owner... Ping! Rin who was in the midst of watching an interesting TV show scrunched his nose with displeasure when he heard
Rin had just exited the mansion when he came face to face with Corpses littered on the ground of the mansion premises. Judging from their outfits, he was able to recognize them as the security guards stationed at the mansion premises. But now they were nothing but lifeless corpses with bullet holes on various parts of their cold bodies. "Bastards!" his neck craned to the distance as he spotted a pick up truck along with two individuals. Although he didn't knew who they were, he could already guess that they were the culprit responsible for the deaths. Flap! A red bat like pair of wings appeared behind his back as he shot into the air, zooming towards the pick up truck in the distance. The speed at which he moved was so fast that it resulted in a loud sonic boom. Boom! While he was at it, his left fist became wrapped in thick draconic scales as he punched forward. Prior to before he became a Ghoul, he was once a Magi with the Dragon mojo. His mojo allowed him to transform various
"Koff. Koff" a rough fit of coughs rang out as Rin's body twitched. His whole clothes were already torn into shreds, exposing his fleshy physique which was ridden with deep gashes and bloodied injuries. His hair was dishelved and some strand of it couldn't help but stick to his blood stained forehead. "You are not dead yet?" Lady Margaret sounded surprised as she jumped down from her mount, landing gracefully within the crater she had created. "You Red Ones sure are a blessed race" she clicked her tongue as she watched Rin's injuries slowly heal up. "However your diet is extremely disgusting" she further added. Squatting down, she grabbed Rin by the chin, lifting him so they were staring face to face. "Now tell me, who's your boss? is it Bart or Kaine?" she demanded sternly. "Y-You know Bart?" Rin gasped weakly. "Just like I had anticipated. You are a member of the Red Sharks. No wonder you dared offend the West End Alliance" Lady Margaret smirked, appearing like she had al
"What the hell?!" Aiden had just pulled over when the strange scene played before his eyes. A few minutes ago, he had received a new system quest. According to the quest, one of the members of his Vampire family was in serious trouble and he was tasked to rescue the troubled family member. However upon arriving at the location, what greeted his eyes was the scene of Rin about to be brutally tortured by a strange lady he didn't know. Although he was able to recognize Rin, the other party couldn't since Aiden was currently under the alias of the Mercenary known as Red Suit. "Who are you?" Lady Margaret frowned with annoyance. One thing she hated the most was interruption. Especially when she was in the middle of doing something. "I should be asking you who you are" Aiden retorted as he got down from the bike, alongside Gregory who was sharing the bike with him as well. "Deal with these two ants. Make it clean" Lady Margaret instantly lost interest in Aiden and Gregory as she inst
"Did you manage to reach out to Aiden?" Raya sighed helplessly in the face of such question. They were currently inside a spacious chamber located within one of the night clubs owned by Kaine. Seated at the round table alongside her were the top ranking executives of the Blood Reapers Gang, including the various Vice Captains. As for the one who had has asked Raya the earlier question, it was Kaine, who currently had a frosty expression on his face. "I did.." she replied slowly, praying that Aiden would mysteriously show up before she revealed the result of their earlier conversation. Unfortunately, no such thing was going to happen. "And?" Kaine raised a brow. "He didn't seem to be in the right state of mind" she exhaled deeply. "I don't know why but the death of a classmate of his seemed to have hit him hard. He seems to be in a mourning phase and doesn't want to involve in the gang activities.. for now" "Tsk. Don't tell me the one who died was his girlfriend?" a top r
After hearing Gregory explain the capability of how his Arcane was used, Aiden finally seemed to understand why no matter how hard he tried dodging, Gregory's lightning whip always ended up striking him. "You both succeeded in pissing me off!" they heard an angry roar as they found Crazy Jill's dagger streaking towards them like a lightning bolt. Gregory reacted quickly as an Hex Pattern lit up at the back of his palm, materializing into a lightning whip that knocked the dagger back. However although he managed to block this attack, the force of the collision caused him to stagger back. Whoosh! Crazy Jill suddenly appeared before Aiden like a ghost as she swung a palm towards his head, intending to crush it into meat patty. She didn't hold back one bit as her destructive beta force pulsated from the palm strike. Monarch Departure However to her shock, Aiden suddenly seemed to have become one with the night as he soundlessly vanished from her sight, causing her strike to hit no
