"Do you think you have won?" the Female Vampire calmly looked at her armless shoulder and then her limp arm laying at her feet.

Then right before Aiden's eyes, her armless shoulder sprouted out a fresh arm. If it wasn't for the limp arm on the ground, Aiden would have thought all that had transpired was merely his eyes playing a trick on him.
