Let's go" August suddenly calmly said as he made to step on the bridge. "Don't!!" Zach immediately panicked as he tugged August by the arm, pulling him back with a frightened expression. As for the other Sentries, they were also sporting terrified expressions as they stared at August like they were looking at a mad man. Even after witnessing what happened to the two scouts, he still wanted to fearlessly pass through this terrifying bridge? Was his brain fried or what?!!! Looking at their frightened expressions, August slowly shook his head, not bothering to conceal the disappointment he felt. "Staying here would be completely useless. If my guess is right, whatever danger lies in this bridge, we won't be able to find out no matter how many scouts we send out. My guess is that this bridge is enveloped in an illusion rune matrix that warps space. So, whatever danger lies ahead, we have no choice but to experience it ourselves" as soon as August dropped this sentence, he directly
"If you lot are excited about just this, then I wonder how you are going to react when you see the main inheritance?" August shook his head as he gave the mini mountain of nebula stones a look of disinterest. When the Seven surviving Sentries heard his ambiguous words, they couldn't help gulping heavily. At that point they felt like the setback they had all gone through was very worth it. Since August had shown his disinterest in the mini mountain of nebula stones, the seven Sentries spent the next half an hour excavating them before splitting the spoils equally amongst themselves. Excavating nebula stones was anything but easy and the process was very complicated. The slightest mistake could cause serious issues as such the excavation was carried out very meticulously. "Are you guys done?" a slight sneer hung on August lips when he saw the excited grins on the Seven Sentries. "We are. We are" Zach had the widest grin. As a Runelock, although he didn't require Nebula stones to c
Boom. Boom. Boom. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed loudly as a large army of Winged Panda Men marched forward in a surprisingly organized formation. They were currently in a strange environment that resembled a large Hall. Behind them was a winding stair case where even more Winged Panda Men were marching from. At the lead was a Winged Panda Man who held a large club the size of a grown man. He had a helmet covering the majority of his face and wore a silver colored piece of armor. The rest of the unarmored Winged Panda Men looked at their armored colleague with respect. "The barrier is getting weaker. Very soon we will kill all humans!" the silver armored Winged Panda Man roared as it held up it's large club into the air while staring at the spinning whirl pool ten meters from him. "Kill!!" the army of Winged Panda Men behind him roared in reply as well while banging their thick fist on their chest. Whoosh! Just then, the whirlpool fluctuated unstably. Seeing this, the Si
"Die human!!" the Silver General finally pulled out the blood red sword that was stuck against it's breastplate as it charged towards Aiden. "Come!!" Aiden licked his lower lips as he charged forward, the lightning gauntlet swiftly got replaced by the Klypt Gauntlets as he threw a punch forward Boom! The surrounding air exploded due to the collision. However this time Aiden wasn't in a disadvantage but was instead in a deadlock. "Your little trick won't work on me for the second time" Aiden sneered as his eyes went blood red. Blzzzt! A blood red beam shot out from his eyes, causing sparks to fly as the laser beam struck the incoming tail of the Silver General. "What a tough tail " Aiden clicked his tongue as his feet tapped the ground twice, causing a small hole to form beneath him. Jumping in, a new hole formed on the ground behind the Silver General, revealing Aiden who jumped out, clawing towards the neck of the Silver General. The other party was wearing a full body armo
As soon as Aiden defeated the Silver General and received the system rewards, he immediately began to ascend the stairs of the Beast Ruins. Beast Ruins were peculiar pocket dimensions in the sense that unlike the regular world that was a boundless landscape, Beast Ruins were shaped into various levels. The lowest levels was often occupied by weaker Feind beasts while the higher levels were the home turf of the more powerful ones. As for the highest level, it was the home turf of the Ruins Boss. Normally a Beast Ruins consisted of just a single Boss. However in some rare cases they had been discoveries of two or more Bosses. During a Ruins Rift, Feind Beasts could only invade the regular world by passing through the Ruins gate at the lowest level. However their passage was in a chronological pattern from the weakest to strongest. This was why normally during a Ruins Rift, the weaker Feinds were the first to begin the invasion while the strongest ones were always the last to emerge.
"Aren't we there yet?" a Sentry grumbled as he stood at the edge of the Runic sailing boat while looking ahead at the thick mist that made it difficult for him to even see his fingers."This mist is blocking my cognizance from scouting ahead. I can only scout twenty meters ahead, however I am yet to discover a shore" Zach replied with a frown as he continued mentally controlling the runic ship.Cognizance was an ability exclusive to Runelocks just like the way the movement skill Flash was exclusive to Warlocks. It allowed them the ability to partially project their consciousness forward. This meant a powerful Runelock could be in city A and still be able to accurately witness what was happening in City B.However the distance that a Runelock's cognizance could cover varied. Zach was no one pushover as he was a Runelock whose cognizance could cover a range of a thousand meters. However upon arriving within the strange mist, the range his cognizance could cover shrinked all the way to j
Shriieeek!!! an almost limitless number of purple colored tentacles swayed around as a huge head shot out from the depth of the poisonous waters, roaring into the sky. The force of its roar caused a large turbulence in the water, causing the nearby Runic ship to sway about unsteadily while the thick mist in the air slowly parted away. Thanks to the disappearance of the obstruction, the appearance of the pissed off beast finally got revealed. It was a mountain like Cuttlefish cephalopod. It was about 1400 feet in total length and about hundred blood shot eyes littered about on its head. The strange beast was covered in purple colored scales and a Large unicorn like horn stuck out from the middle of its large head. However unlike harmless unicorns, its horn were about the size of a battle ship cannon and was filled with strange patterns. Its multiple tentacles flayed about like only by doing so could it express its rage.. "Stupid beast. You could no longer remain hidden after that
"Hmpfh. Not many people know of this. In the past I was once a member of the Star Impact Guild. During a trip in a Beast Ruins, I witnessed Xavier face off against the Boss of a level three Beast Ruins that was on the verge of transforming into a level four Beast Ruins. However guess what happened when they were about to fight?" Zach voice became excited as he licked his lower lips.. "He did something that I would never forget in my entire life. He merely pointed at the Boss level Feind and said a single word.. explode. And the head of the boss level Feind exploded!" "So tell me, how can such a terrifying existence possibly lose to August?" Zach smirked confidently. "But how is that even possible?" although the Sentries were not present, they felt scared just imagining the scene of Xavier commanding the Boss of a level three Beast Ruins to explode their head. One had to know that such an existence was comparable to a peak Delta Warrior Magi. Not to mention unlike Magis, Feind Bea
